Hey BYC! This is my first flock & the first beak injury. She seems ok, but I want to check with the hive mind. Today (Sunday 1/4/26) between 215 pm -515 pm our Polish pullet Hera busted her beak somehow. She was eating & running around as usual. She's at the bottom of the pecking order.
We noticed a tiny drop of blood, cleaned it with Veterycin, & vowed to check on her later. We just checked her again, applied Veterycin again & took a picture. Is this all I should be doing? Does she need anything else?

Look at her fluffy poof!

She may have rubbed it against a feeder or injured it sticking her beak through some wire.

Looks to be relatively minor and should heal up o.k. Sounds like you've treated it well.
