Beak issue.

We have a golden comet (Lucy), the bottom part of her beak sticks out further than the top and it has a chip in it. It doesn’t seem to affect her eating and drinking (she even uses the nipples). Is this ok?

The picture was pre pedicure (bumble foot treatment) she looks quite annoyed.

If she's eating/drinking o.k., then I would leave it alone.

Looks like typical debeaking that hatcheries perform on started pullets or if the bird is an ex-batt, you'll see that.

Other causes can be injury when young.

Not sure, We’ve only had her for a month. She was in with 30 other chickens in a very small space when we got her.
