Ok so I have noticed that several of my chicks beaks don't match up -- it isn't cross beak -- they line up on top of each other but then there is a gap between top and bottom. They are hatchery chicks so I know they aren't supposed to be perfect but could this cause problems? They eat and drink just fine so far -- just wondering if it will be a problem down the road. They will no be bred obviously. My GL Campine seems to have it the worst with a big hook on the front of the beak but you can kinda see a little with the EE too. Is this normal? Thanks!
Sorry this is a blurry photo but it shows the gap well - Campine
You can see a slight gap in the EE as well as my Australorp (not pictured)
