It looks like she may have injured the area to me too - when they are probing around with their bills it can be easy sometimes to nick it on a rock, or log and cause some superficial damage.

I brought her home with me last night and she got another one. So I’m not sure. We’lol see how it goes I guess

do you have any topical ointment or duck-friendly salve? I'd try cleaning it by dabbing some salt water and then applying a duck-friendly salve like polysporin or an antibiotic? (make sure there are no pain relief meds in it) also those ointments can break down waterproofing, so if you decide to go that route watch out for wet feather (or waterlogging) if she gets in water while she's healing
