Beakers is almost 8 months now!!! He is loosing weight though, he was eating on his own for a few months and doing good. This past month he’s not eating on his own, so I’ve been feeding him high protein stuff to put some weight back on him but it don’t seem to be working. I’ve tried egg, oatmeal, peanut butter and mealworm, scratch or feed sandwich. What can I do to put some weight back on him? He doesn’t even hold his tail up anymore, it droops down!! PLEASE, any and all suggestions is very much appreciated!!!

Have you tested him for worms or coccidiosis? Both of these things can cause weight loss. Take a poop sample to a vet, it's quite inexpensive and will give you some info on what's going on.
Meanwhile, my go to recipe for poorly birds is this - mix 1/2 gall.water with some poultry cell. Feed your patient with 20% feed mixed with the water solution. Mix in some dried oregano. Make the mash the consistency of oatmeal.
Please keep us posted, :)

agree with By Bob - please have the vet do a stool check.
What does his poo look like? If it is black like tar it is likely there is a parasite involved. No matter what, get his poo tested. It is the most likely reason for his weight loss.
I think I may have figured out at least part of the problem...I fed him this morning and took him back out to his pen, usually I just put him in there and then leave, today I put him in there and I stood there with him and saw Willow his hatch mate and BFF picking on him and chasing him around the coop so I think at least some of it has to do with him being stressed. I am going to put willow in the bachelor pad for the time being and see if that don’t help Beakers gain a little weight with less stress!!

Chickens will also attack the weak or sick to drive them away from the flock and protect the others. Please get his poo tested.

Hope Beakers will be okay.

Just a quick update...his poo is clean...he is starting to eat more and is holding his tail up again since I took Willow out!!! Hopefully he will put some weight back on now that there isn’t the stress of being picked on!!!
Fingers crossed that that was all it was!!
