Bean's Random Ramblings!

Coco, overall best composition and exposure. Nilla and Kiara are better poses but Nilla's foreground and background are distracting and if you crop in on her it may be too much, and Kiara's background is blown out and draws your eye away upper right. You can try to crop her in too, but again, I think you'd end upo too close and it would look funky.
Depends on personal preference. But again, photography is also a form of art, so it's only expected to see variety.

I personally like the sense of depth in Nilla's picture. And I am a huge fan of contrast. Coco's is a good picture (quality-wise), but its a pretty easy picture to capture. Its plain and not very "interesting". Just personal preference, not trying to argue.

Okay! Thank you! I may have to try taking some new pictures then. I am a total beginner, and I don’t even have my own camera.:p I’ll have to borrow my mom’s. I’ll keep Coco’s at the top of my list for now though.

I'm with you and I like Nilla a lot compositionally. I just find the foreground branch and the chicken butt behind her to be distracting from the overall image.

Thank you too! I asked for opinions, so I love hearing them.

How about this one? Not sure if it even fits in a category, but I would love to hear other opinions on this one-

I really like shooting "through" something. Something natural like brush or branches work well. I like pictures where an animal is almost like peeking out. But again, its not easy to get a bird to cooperate. I may need to pick up my camera more. After the move, I have not used it.

I love it! Maybe up the shutter speed a little bit though. Some more depth couldn't hurt. I feel like the background would fade out more and blend together if the shutter speed were higher. Its a little bright for my liking, but overall GREAT job!
