I would absolutely put hot wire around your coop and run and make sure to report this incident to your local game warden so they can keep an eye on the bear or take action as needed. They can't address issues they don't know about after all

Nothing stops bears but baited electric fences or multiple guardian dogs big enough to fight one. I built my coop beside my driveway underneath a street light in a fenced yard
