Bear Attack

Feel lucky since we have a large wildlife trail (bears/cats) coming down from the mountains along side of our homestead property. Even when I was doing large amounts of meat birds in 7 outside chain link pens right on the side they walk past. They didn't stopped. I had 7 to 10 GSD's at that time so they don't like a pack of dogs.

Our local wildlife office has always been very supportive to provide assistance and come out to investigate wildlife activity. When the neighbors were haveing small and large animal attacks and return attacks they came out set up traps. Caught a bob cat. Any time you call they want to help.

Ours in Wisconsin will as well. They have a team that comes out to trap and relocate. We told them no on these as our dogs scared the cubs up the tree, so we got the dogs in so they could leave. Momma won't be coming back.

Others, if the dogs aren't scaring them off, a shotgun shot in the air sends them running.
