Beard and wattles?

One of my young cockerels seems to be growing wattles along with a beard. Is this even possible? I think he's half EE half Ameraucana. All his possible moms have beards, and so does his dad. Thanks in advance!

Yes, bearded birds still have wattles, the growth is just stunted.

Yeah, they're not really wattles, more like floppy skin under his chin. Do you think his mom was an EE, or something with wattles?
