I get my hatching eggs from a play farm near us. They sell them for eating but actually most are fertile. They have lots of pure breeds of chickens and they keep them separately so I know that the eggs are going to be mostly pure breed. I am not discounting the possibility of a hybrid however as i have them shooing chickens into neighbouring pens when they are cleaning the coops.
So, so far I have hatched a pure breed silkie (five nailed toes, black skin and domed head - beautiful) three olive eggers (second generation), an RIR, a cuckoo frizzle bantam, three speckled bantams and this one:



You can see the beard properly on the last one.
I think its a pullet and she is 10 weeks old so I guess the feathers havent settled yet.
Any ideas?
