Bearded hens love having beard stroked

Has anyone else noticed that bearded chickens love having their beards stroked? I have many different breeds, and they all love it! Same thing with those with muffs.

YES! My Ameraucana cockerel loves having his muffs rubbed and stroked!

I've found the safest/best liked place to stroke most any bird is under their 'chins'.

Any chicken loves a good facial massage, and will become your bestie if you do so. Combs, wattles, around the eyes, jaw line are all favorite spots.
