Wish I'd gotten some of those cattle zappers when they went on clearance at the feed store.
Thanks for the info on the black bears. I'm interested to see what animals I might see around here. Don't really WANT to see the bears in town (the neighbors have said a lot about being careful about garbage, etc) but they tell me you see bighorn sheep, etc. up on the slopes. If I ever get settled in, I want to start going hiking.
I hadn't thought about the bird feeders. There are TONS of birds around here (most of which I can't identify) and the owner left me a big bag of wildlife feed, which I've been putting out for the birds and squirrels. Now ... not sure if I want to keep doing that. Then again, if I put it out in the morning, the animals have it cleaned up by early evening.
Hmmmm .... lots to think about!
