Beat It Kid!

we have a small wild population here in the marshes of the Elisabeth river I can usually "bust " a covey just walking about 1/4-1/2 mile from the house

I can join the club, bush-hogging for Pops in N georgia, kicked up several rabbits, a fawn and 2 bobwhites!

I was stoked, no net in sight to catch em

so I decided to build them brush piles with what I was chain-sawing out of the fence line, locust trees? spikey buggers.

well, I did that this morning and drove back on the 4wheeler this evening to show my wife, Jill, what I had done and we kicked up 2 bobwhites again and they flew straight to my brush piles. I was stoked. drove closer and could see a male and female and was able to tell Jill how to tell them apart.

very cool.
