So after not spending much time paying attention to my chickens lately, cause its been to cold I had to go shovel out there run this morning and I noticed 2 of the eight have scabs and are missing feathers right in front of their tails. My questions are is this from them getting picked at, is it cause they are in the coop so much this time of year, how do I stop or slow it down and what do I do to fix it?

Sounds like they are bored and thus pecking at one another. Although a pecking order is normal and lots of time the one at the bottom looks much worse than these pictures show. If it was not happening before then I'd go back to what you were doing. saladin
