Beat up roo, head injury? - Photo added

Lenny is still hanging in there. Most of the time he still has a bit of a head tilt, but it seems when he gets excited he starts to really twist it and circle a little. Balance is still off and he still doesn't go up on the roost and needs help into the coop. I had a little trouble giving him meds once he was with the hens. He wouldn't eat any treats, just wanted to give them to the hens. Now he is taking them directly from a syringe with no problems. They do seem to help.

All in all he does seem stronger. He is eating and drinking well. I go back and forth wondering about his vision. Last night I tested his pupils with a flashlight and both reacted to the light. But he doesn't seem to see well with the eye he always keeps facing up. Is that normal? I would think he would keep the good eye up.

I have found when he starts the twisting neck thing, if I hold his neck and gently lift his head for a moment, he tends to stop.

His hens are just the best. They have been very good to him, no picking on him or anything. Today when I went out to give him his meds, one even charged me like she was protecting him. She is the lead hen of the group, so maybe she was protecting him.
