The Start of My Flock Journey

Hey everyone! I’ve been meaning to start a flock journal for a while now, and today feels like the perfect time to finally do it.
I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. Growing up, I had horses, goats, and of course, all the little critters that seem to find their way into your heart when you least expect it. Ever since I can remember, I’ve felt like I just understand animals — even the shy ones seem to trust me quicker than I expect. Now, it’s chickens that have stolen the spotlight in my life, and I couldn’t be happier about it.
My flock is still in the beginning stages, but every day feels like the start of a new adventure. Each bird already has its own quirks and personality — some bold, some sweet, some a little mischievous — and I know they’re only going to keep surprising me. I can’t wait to look back on this journal one day and see how much they’ve grown and how far we’ve come together.
I’ll be sharing the little day-to-day stories, the milestones, the “oh no, what now?” moments, and of course the funny chicken antics that make this whole thing so worth it.
Here’s to the start of something special.
