Beautiful black and gray rooster- what am I looking at here?

I got him along with a bunch of hens and am wondering what he is. Any ideas? He's tall, leggy, very fast, smart and he doesn't stop fighting to escape even when he's wrapped up and pinned. His comb reminds me of a Maran.

The guy didn't say. He also threw in a cuckoo Maran roo and three copper Maran hens that had pecked patches from being bullied by a couple of Barred Rock hens. But this roo? No idea except his comb and wattle look exactly like the cuckoo Maran's. But this guy is tall; about 25% taller than my Barred Rock rooster or the cuckoo Maran.

I texted a pic of him to the guy I got him from and he remembered the bird instantly. He said it was the progeny of a Blue Andalusian hen and Jersey Giant rooster. So, mystery solved.
