Blue, the lavender OEGB cockerel
So close! Old English Game Bantam! Thank you, he’s a good boy! What a gorgeous boy! But I'm not sure I'm deciphering OEGB. Old English Game Bird?
I love those soft colors and the tail is very dramatic.
He has 5 pullets (laying) of the same breed. Different colors though. He also has 2 red sex links and 1 blue orp with him. They get along. That makes sense. He looks a good bit smaller than your hens.
They're both supposed to be "mixed longtail bantams," although they're larger than a bantam but smaller than a standard. I guess big bantams. They both do get very long saddles & hackles and tail feathers. The redhead gets longer tail feathers. What kinda bird is the red head?
Oops! Looks like there's a need for a bit of a tail transplant going on there.Hope we'll get to see them again when they're at their best.
Do I remember from another thread that you keep them indoors? I can't even imagine...
