I would love eggs bobzant! I have never used a incubator before but we have been thinking about investing in an affordable one for the heck of it. Anyone have any suggestions on that?

Great I'll find out how many she wants, thanks! She was puppy sitting and the puppy got out of its crate and killed all but 4 of her quail that I bought her for her birthday...she had 37! And her favorite little japanese x polish mix chick She will be very happy to get these!!!

something killed him 2 nights ago and my son is heartbroken got him through the fence...my guess is he was trying to protect his girls and got to close to the fence and got his wing grabed what ever it was tried pulling him through the fenceing

we loved him but he turned hormonal on us when his 2 girls started laying and that was not to long ago and i have some of their eggs in the bator now hoping they hatch

...ive had hormones make a nice rooster go mean when hens started laying but after about a month they were good just a bit over hormonal at the time...typical guy thing lol

my sons doing better but he has asked several times when oatmeal was coming back (along with ruby who got debeaked a few months ago) and its so hard for a 4 year old to really understand the concept that they both are in chicken heaven. ive been up later than normal trying to see if whatever got him comes back as there were no foot prints or anything to really give a clue as to what it was and im scared for my other 16 chickens and 4 ducks when it comes to not knowing what got him as it did try to dig into another cage

oh no! that is awful! i can share tears with you because i just did the worst thing ever...i moved my truck and i didnt know one of my 5 week old chicks had managed to get out of the run and i ran him over!!

i could die right now...we can cry together
