My sapphire gem has some really beautiful splashes coming in on her feathers. They’re black splotches with a green sheen and I keep finding more everyday. I could just search her feathers forever for them! You’d never notice unless you looked closely. Anyone else have beautiful feathers to share?

Aw thanks 😊 how old is yours? Let’s see a pic of her! Peppy was the smallest chick, but now she’s the biggest girl.
Mine is 7 weeks, she has pretty much full feathers but I know the Feather color changes slightly with age. This is her about a week ago her name is Sophia

Aw she’s beautiful!! Call me crazy, but I like the scraggly teenage chicken stage. That’s how Pepper looked too, she’s 18 1/2 weeks old now and just started showing these little oil slick spots.
