My introduction, I'm new!

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I am not new to chickens, I've had them all my life. We have hatched chicks for longer than I can remember. We truly love them!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

I currently have 14 but I'm planning on getting more!

(3) What breeds do you have?

I have bantam Cochins, silkies, and mixed. I am getting some Sebrights and kikirikis soon!!!

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

I love raising chicks or letting the broodies do it. It's so cool. One of my other favorite things is hatching eggs and candling them. I LOVE candling and watching them grow. I love to see their personalities and seeing who's the sweetest.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I also have rabbits and turkeys. I have a Rabbitry and I breed Pedigreed English Angoras (website is fluffpuffrabbitry.com). I have two turkeys currently and hope to breed them soon!
