Beautiful rooster in need of home he’s a Speckled Sussex from MPC (was supposed to be a hen), he’s pretty easy going so far (hand raised by my 2.5 yo), and doesn’t crow too much or too loud (at least not yet). He will let us hold and pet him, and he’s never gotten too feisty with us or the little kiddo. We are in LA, CA right near the airport and can’t have roosters in our zoning or we would keep him.
We have a small flock of 4 (including him) with no signs of illness (everyone hatched in May and was vaccinated).
Obviously not okay with cockfighting, but I won’t judge if you want him for chicken soup. But he is really pretty. Please reach out if you're interested!
