Beautiful!!

Well, I had a raccoon that got into one of my coops and killed my guineas. I set a trap and caught it the next day...pow!!!....one dead raccoon. So I took him to the back of my 10 acres and tossed him on the ground; we have a lot of vultures, and I hated to waste the carcass. I saw them out there yesterday evening, so I knew they had found him.

I peeked out my window this morning to see how things were out back and saw this guy on my back fence:

I tried to sneak out there and get a closer picture, but he flew off. How exciting is that!!!!

Eagles are beautiful, that is for sure.

But, there is a nesting pair near me, so my hens have to stay confined.

Well, also because of my neighbor's dogs . . . .

Yeah, I wasnt happy about that. But I did find 3 keets on Craigslist that I picked up yesterday, so Im back in business. Coop will be reinforced first, of course.

Thats a vulture. You can see one on the ground at the buffet, too.
