Bedding for my Babies Butts?

Whats do you guys use for bedding in your brooder? I know alot of people use papertowels but would like something that doesn't require changing as much. How often do you change Pine Shavings?

A lot depends on the brooder. My brooder is a large stock tank. I use bedding in mine and it works great. If your brooder has a wire mesh floor then bedding is not a good idea.

Large tupperware container no wire. How often do you change the bedding and should i stir it up daily? Thanks

Anything shredded runs the risk of being eaten and causing "pasty butt" or intestinal blockages....

We use newspaper covered with paper towels...

You might be able to use the new "bunny bedding" made of recycled paper-- but use only the grey kind-- the others have color/deodorant added.

Judge for yourself. If it starts to smell and looks dirty, then change it.
