Bedding Fork question

Do any of you have a "durafork" by Little Giant? If so - how is it holding up. I bought one but my hubby thinks I should spend the bigger bucks and buy a metal one. All I have is a small coop so it won't get heavy duty use - but we are looking for an acreage eventually and have goats/sheep.

Get what you want. If it craps out on you, then next time get the metal one.

I've had a green plastic one for 15 years--no problem. I do use a big scoop type shovel for heavy stuff, just the fork for spreading/fluffing the pine shavings.

I used to buy Future Forks, they are more expensive and I always broke the teeth on them. I have two of those with broken teeth.
I bought a Dura Fork and have used it for about 4 years and it is still going strong. I clean 6 stalls a day with mine.

I've always shoveled out the coops when I clean. I've always used shavings in the coop. For me, forks are more of a tool for straw and I don't use straw for the chickens.
