Does it make a difference what u use for the winter months on bedding,an do chickens go out in the winter.

As long as the bedding is kept clean and dry, it shouldn't really matter what you use. And yes, until you have a massive amount of snow, most chickens will go outside during the winter.

Many people like to use straw in the winter as it acts as a natural insulated and is very warm. But like @HighStreetCoop said, if the bedding is kept dry and clean, anything can work.
