Our local association has monthly meetings, if yours does that would be a great place to start. If you know of a local bee keeper, they are usually eager to help new people get started.I am really glad I found this thread! I have been trying to get information locally, but so far, no one I have contacted has gotten back with me! I called my township to see if we were in fact allowed to have them (I know we are, I just want the specifics). I've emailed the local associations. Nothing. I first started thinking about it when I found a spot for them. All I have to my disposal is reading online, but have learned enough to know I want to do it. I live in PA. Any ideas of where ELSE I can contact?
