Bee Sting?

I think one of my pullets got stung today. She was foraging and all of a sudden squawked like she was pecked but no other birds were near her and she is top girl, so no one pecks her but my cockerel. She then scratched several times around her ear/wattle area. She seems fine but should I be concerned?

With bee sting, there would most likely be swelling. Does is seem to bother her? Attempt to locate the stinger and take it out. She will probably be fine.

I don't have too many honey bees around, all flowering plants are in front yard. But I do have a lot of yellow jackets that hunt small bugs for their young, I think it was that which stung her, maybe. So no stinger. No obvious swelling. She will be fine I think, just shocking when it happened.

And it is about 95 degrees out so I dont want to catch her to do a close inspection.
