I beefed up the base for my coop, and started a BYC page!!

(Also, if I'm doing this wrong or my BYC etiquette is off, do please let me know.)

Your etiquette is just fine. I'd like to see a finished pix. I also use a rubbermaid shed as a coop, love it.

I plan to keep posting my progress. I plan to get chicks at the end of March, so I figure the coop needs to be finished by the end of May.
Imp, do you have pics of YOUR shed coop?

Lookin' good! My only 'criticism' is that you are going to need a bigger coop!

Sure do.

Everything inside comes out for cleaning. I like that it is perfectly dry, especially in this damp Seattle weather.

Oooh! Really? Somehow, I thought I had read that they'd be fully feathered and ready for the outdoors by 7-8 weeks. No, huh? When WILL I want to put them outside?

That's 8 weeks in the house......by the end of 4 weeks you'll be so sick of the dust that you'll be wanting them outside. That time of year mine are outside with a heat lamp by 3 weeks old.
