Beekeeping and chickens

Not sure I am posting in the proper forum.

Am thinking of keeping honey bees but don’t know how compatible it would be with my chickens.
I have 5 pullets free roaming in approximately 1/4 acre, the bees would be in the same area.
My bee hives are approximately 20' in front of my coop. My chickens get to free range daily in the area and have not had any issues with the bees. Some people have posted about their bees hanging out on their chicken feed. This has not been an issue for me as I plant sweet clover for the bees and also have lots of wildflowers (weeds).

There are things that bother bees like the hive beetles and wax moths that chickens could eat, I'd see it as a good thing. If the chickens manage to eat a few bees it won't hurt the hive, just keep the hive elevated off the ground. As long as your hive doesn't get invaded by African bees your chickens won't be killed by them eaither.
