How did you make the white & gold pysanky? They are beautiful.

Thank you for the compliments. The pysanky egg is etched. it's a brown egg and I put melted wax on it with a kiska, then I dip the egg in some toilet bowl cleaner called The Works. Where the wax is on the egg the works won't do anything. I scrub the works on the egg till I get the color I want with a tooth brush and then I clean it off the egg. You have to be careful because the works is really fast and it will go right through the egg shell. Then when it's all the color i want for the background I just melt the wax off over a candle and wipe the wax off and it leaves the dark color of the egg.

wow i've got to try that. it's so beautiful. a really dark egg or maybe an ameraucana egg would look cool too.
