Hello! So many helpful hints on here!! Last summer I got my first 4 chickens--cream legbars. They are absolutely a joy!! I just added 5 more chickens to my little homestead (well, they are still separate for the time being) --I got them from a farm around the corner from me and I have no idea what they are--I thought perhaps someone would? I think there are 2 Jersey giants and 3 barred rocks? No idea if they are pullets or cockerels..anyone know how to tell?

You can post photos at "what breed or gender is this." It is best that the chicks be 6-8 weeks old. Welcome to Backyard chickens
