Been off for a while-but hey we just showed and did well!!

Hey everyone, I had started getting on this forum and writing alot, but got too busy with life and chicken stuff, but to get you up to speed on the good stuff, I was made Secretary of my local Poultry club, the Pikes Peak Poultry Association! This is not a position for the lazy, let me tell you! LOL-but I love being this involved with all the projects, and I get along with our president just perfectly, though I do believe she is more motivated than I, lol, she has been a President of a different club before. Lets see, ah yes, I also just entered my two Japanese hens and 3 Black Rosecomb pullets in a show that was on Sat. We got 1st, BB, and BV with one of the Japanese, and the other got 2nd and RB and RV. The 3 Rosecombs, got 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and one BB/BV and one RB/RV! First time out for them too-yes they freaked out when brought in, but will be pros soon as we have another show at a clinic in about 2 weeks, so showing is underway ya'll!

Thanks guys, wasn't top of their classes but, that was good, and I forgot to mention, after all the showing was done, I won the 2010 A.B.A. yearbook which I wanted,(edit: in the show raffle), and to go with that, I got a paid membership to the A.B.A., EXACTLY what I wanted! Then, after that happened, lol, a top breeder who is very respected in our area, and the President of the host club, came up to me and asked me to take home the Reserve English Class Champion, a Standard Buff Orpington, since his dad sent him there and didn't want him back, so, I did, and he rode home on my lap, lol, he's gorgeous, and a first for me, never had any Orpingtons!
