A not so serious question: how do I get my chickens to play the Xylophone? They just ignore it.

And does any of your chickens have a talent for music? Now's the time to show it off.

I have tried this same thing, attaching it inside a cage to keep them from being bored.

No luck at all they ignore it.. I think you need a chicken with God-given musical ability or a sense of perfect pitch. My chickens appear ordinary.

that didn't work with my tone deaf birds....

Good idea, I will try that. However when I smeared Yogurt on the Xylophone (that's when it was still attached to the coop wall) they waited for the Yogurt to drop on the ground in order to eat it.

Looks like that could actually work. Even though I see my hens more likely trying to peck at my hand with the treats in it than at the Xylophone.
