Beetles in chick feed?!

I’m hatching a ton of quail right now and found these tiny red beetles in their food, and upon further investigation, in their entire food bag! It’s not a new bag, but I hadn’t noticed this at all before. Each bag costs like 25 dollars so I was wondering if I should get a new one or if the chicks will be fine.

Pics please. As they are chicks I would get a new bag but please post pics so we can tell what the bug is.

After asking around I’m pretty sure they are weevils so we are just throwing out that bag and getting a new one

Do you have adults or chickens? I'd just feed it to them, that way you're not wasting that feed.

Freeze the bag for 48 hours, after the freezing temperature has reached the center, three or four days to be sure.

Then feed the chickens. Bugs are extra protein.
