Beginners Luck?

We have ordered baby chicks for a few years now.We bought a brinsea 7 egg incubator in July and got some eggs thru the mail. 22 days later 100% hatch!

Rather it's luck or not congrats on the hatch rate!

I was sooo worried for my first hatch, I bought a very cheap styrofoam incuabtor with no extras like a fan or egg turner and the guy at the feed mill told me that mostly likely I wouldn't get any more than 1/4 of them to hatch. Well I had 19 of the 20 eggs hatch, not as good as 100% but pretty dang close. Yours is very impressive considering the eggs were mailed.

We were very nervous. This was an educational project for my 5 year old daughter (and my wife and I ) and was praying for at least 2 to hatch just to let her see something and not be let down. I did so much research and read the incubator directions at least 20 times .

Thats great, did you guys candle them then? I just think that it the neatest thing ever being able to see the little guys moving around in the eggs.
