I have a 75 wt on my peeps.
The lamp is on the out side and it dont seem to be too hot when I checked.

First... Welcome to BYC!!

To start your own thread go to the Index page and click on the "Incubating & Hatching Eggs" - that's where you want to post this particular question. In the upper right hand or lower right hand of the page you will see "Post New Topic". Click on that and you can write up your own question(s). When you are done with the question, go just below the box you wrote in and click on "Submit". That will start your new thread and people will be able to see it and help you.

Here is a great referance book, Gail Damerow's 'Storey's Guide to Chickens' is an excellent guide, as well as this web site.

Before we even had a design for our coop/run we bought this book at a feed store. It has lots of good information on just about anything chicken. Without that book, we would be totally lost.
