Beginning to Squat

I found a giant hawk inside my garden this morning, this is what it did to one of my RIR....any suggestions?

My hen started squatting 2 days before her first egg.

My Barred Rock is 24 weeks and nothing yet. Does she look like she might be ready based on this picture?

2 of mine are 20 weeks and just layed this week. They look just like that, nice red combs, and squawking up a storm. Patience, grasshopper.

So sorry We giant hawks too. We also have foxes. We knew we could not free range our chickens. We have them in a covered dog run and a Peck and Play that we move around the yard for them to "free range" so they can get fresh grass and bugs.

I have 5 ladies and I'm still waiting I was told they were 5 months old when I got them a month and a half ago I look every morning and evening but no eggs. This squatting and singing you all are talking about what is that?
