Hello, a very small tip of my rooster's comb is purple/blackish as opposed to its usual red color and I suspect it's the beginnings of frostbite. I've read not to warm up the area unless it won't be exposed to the cold again, however, I can't keep him inside forever. Should I just leave it and let that piece of his comb die off? He seems perfectly fine, not in distress, eating, drinking, pooping normally.

It may also just be a lack of oxygen, which some birds with a larger comb can get.
