I have had my chickens about a year now. Have had four die in that year (don't know why) and two in the last month. I did find a worm in run so I have wormed them all. I have one chicken that wants to say in nest and when I make her get out of box she rubs her beak on ground and is a little mean to other chicken.
I care to my chicken every day fresh water, food and clean housing. I also talk to anyone I can about raising them and normally everyone I talk to say they have never had any problems.
Starting to think I should have got a pet rock.
Chicken live all over the world, can my problem be our property? Maybe something in dirt or Indian burial ground.

Hello there!

The chicken that wants to sit in the nest all the time is probably broody. That's a hormonal thing which means the hen wants to hatch some babies. So nothing is really wrong with her.

The chickens that have died......It does happen. Did they display any symptoms?

Loss color in comb and waddles one started limping then just would not move

What do you think of her rubbing beak and being mean ?

Thanks
