No way! I was told that was plenty of space--YOU'RE KIDDING ME!! and they may as well have the treehouse, my girls NEVER play in there. That was their Christmas present last year.

I'm no expert, but I say that you have all hens. I have some chicks that are 3 1/2 months old and I have been able to tell for quite a while, which are pullets and which are cockerals.

When they fluff up and such, then they are just determining which is going to be top/boss hen. This is perfectly normal.
