Behaviour of hen before laying first egg?

She laid her first egg yesterday afternoon on the ground right behind beside me and jumped up on my lap as to say "I did it"

She has laid everyday. She has her nest box that she uses. She only laid her first one outside as she had been in my lap. She had wanted to be held and carried on with each egg until this morning. This was her 4th egg. She made no fuss and just went in her box and laid her egg.
