is this a lash egg? Was on poop shelf today, a bit bigger than a quarter. This is it cut in half, solid all way through and same consistency all way through.

Do your hens normally roost in the same spot each night? You may be able to narrow it down to just a couple of hens by where the poop and lash material was expelled onto the poop tray.

Then monitor those hens and see if you notice any symptoms like lethargy, acting a bit off, having a hard time laying eggs...you'd just have to observe closely. Could be you won't see any symptoms for a long time, you never know.
