What about all of us here on BYC!
It's ok I think I will prepare by going over to GrayDragon's as they seem to have it covered

My DW and I were on FB for quite some time and then despite having security questions and all her profile was hacked and it took 2 weeks to get it straightened out - needless to say once we had control of her profile I sat down and deleted everything we had ever posted(i know there is a back up somewhere) then I went through withdrawls - It was a sad time for me but in my weakness I joined the BYC forum! LOL

Good, you'll love it. The language is definatly over 16, but for someone who can grasp dark comedy it's good.

My 18 year old son and I have had this conversation quite a bit. We decided we would grab us one of those passenger/car ferries and become self sufficient out in the Puget Sound. We have often wondered if zombies can walk along the waters bottom. It has created much debate around the house. Since most of our food would be fish, we talk a lot about zombie fish.. that has the potential to ruin everything... I guess it all depends if zombies bite fish.. which means they could walk on the floor of the sound.

There would be an initial landing to gather up soil and some chickens. And periodically we would have to land for refueling, and this scares us to no end. We think we'd be better off hitting up some of the islands for fuel instead of the mainland. But how long could it last us? Could we just float around without fuel indefintely?

We argued at great length about grabbing an aircraft carrier out at Bremerton, but I finally convinced him that there would be thousands of zombie military. Aircraft carrier is out.

So yes, we are prepared. Sorta...

GrayDragon,
When the zombies show up, could you use a new roommate?
lol
I have always considered the 'end of life as we know it' scenario. That's why I am teaching myself about chickens, gardening, self defense, etc.
But, wow, cannons, never thought of those. hmmmmmm
sounds like fun.

No one in this house has anything to worry about from brain-eating zombies.

I have to work on my GreyDragon resume; I still can't
hotwire a car
Build a variety of explosive devices (don't know a Variety)
Weave cloth (I can crochet, does that count?)
Use a sword properly in combat
Correctly load and fire a cannon (however I could INcorrectly load one)
Wire a ham radio
Build a chariot
Smelt several types of metal
Make gunpowder
Craft my own ammunition (unless you count my early biscuits)
