Being told boy on fb, want expert opinions

That's a cockerel (boy). My reasoning is as follows: at 7 weeks old the comb is quite pink/red and very well developed and also note in picture #1 that waddles, that flap of skin from neck to lower beak, are already forming. A pullet doesn't start to develop waddles until she's getting close to sexual maturity.
I hope you were hoping for a boy, because...he is one.

That's not entirely true. I don't have my phone on me (so no pictures), but I have had plenty of females mature quicker and start growing wattles before sexual maturity.

The reason its a male is actually because of its comb and patchy coloring.
