Belgium D’uccle Gender??

hey all. Just wanted one last attempt at sexing Eggna my Belgium D’uccle. Is approx 6 weeks old now. Feathers have almost all come through and the beards coming out now also.
Don’t want to get rid of if not a cockerel so all help would be appreciated

My guess is cockerel due to red comb and wattle development for the age. But I don't know much about this breed. Good luck!

Thanks. Yes it’s hard when know nothing of breed. I have a Japanese Bantam everyone said was a cockerel based on development and what they knew from their breeds that weren’t JB’s and I found a Japanese Bantam group which deals with that breed only. Was told it was in fact a pullet and it is in fact a pullet.
Couldn’t they all just develop the same

I raise d'Uccles and I'm gonna say that's likely a cockerel, but wait a couple more weeks to make a decision, as I could be wrong. They are a breed that doesn't have a lot of wattle even when grown, but that's a lot of comb for that age.

Yes certainly a lot of comb. He’s such a lovely little guy. In two minds about keeping him. Council rules state roosters may be kept but if complaints are made will need to be removed

Nice looking bird, wish I could see it better. Dark breeds don't show up as well. Could you hold on for another 2-3 weeks to see if comb gets larger?
