Believing everything needs a chance

[17 chickens]

So we were given a chick about 10 weeks ago from our local feed store who is handicapped. We have now over 280 chickens right now and growing everyday. We also believe everything should be given a second chance in life so we took this little chick in and named him Curly. Curly has severely deformed feet has trouble keeping up with the others his age so he has become our house chicken. We gave curly a nice double extra large dog crate of his own with thick shavings, he gets to come out everyday and be held on my lap watching TV at night. He also goes outside to play on nice days in the thick lawn. I know curly is thankful for the home we gave him as he shows us by snuggling up close. Curly has shown us no matter what or who you are everyone deserves a second chance in life.
