Belly-Button Piercings

ummm...
i got my belly-button done back in December, in Febuary the screw on balls on the bar kept falling out. so i took the bar out till I could go back home, and screw on another ball..
when i got home, the hole closed and I got stuck re-piercing my belly-button.
one word: OWWW
stuck a safty pin through, then crambed a bar in.
its March now, and I've noticed thats theres been alot of discharge coming out...
this morning i peeled a huge blood colored (dryed) thing of discharge off my piercing.
Im starting to become worried....
before I never had anything like this with any of the holes I've punched through any part of my body
is anyone on here experienced in this kind of thing?

Take OUT the piercing..and get to the doctor for antibiotics... silly goose!

when it heals you can go get it done again... and dont use a safety pin next time...

I had my belly button piercing for 2 years...it ALWAYS oozed a little like when you first get your ears pierced. I had it out for 5 days when I had surgery, and it closed right up. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle to do it again, not to mention always getting it caught on the waistband of my jeans..oww! If I were you though, since the discharge is still bloody, I'd have it looked at...it it swollen and red, or just discharge? If it's not hot and swollen, maybe you could also try cleaning it with an antiseptic (not peroxide) and putting neosporin on it for a couple days (and keeping it covered with a bandaid)..???

at HotTopic they sell Piercing spray called H2Ocean, and thats what I've been using
Its not hot or red, or puffy
the only piercing I've had that ozzed anything was the cartilage(sp) in my ear
that was gross....all in my hair...

and my friend does all his piercings hiself and he looked at it and said i shouldnt worry about it
but idk...thats the guy that pierced his lip with a nail...

honey..if gunk is coming from it..its infected..
my foster son had a bad infection in his belly button..(not from a piercing..

)
and he started to get gunk coming out of it

... etc... then it turned red and hard and warm above his belly button..
it can become serious VERY quick... He almost had to have I.V meds...
i'm telling you..get to the doctor.. if he tells you you can keep it in and just take meds..that may work too... but at least get on an antibiotic..

sure sounds like something's going on there girlie. take the barbell out and sterilize it and coat it with neosporin before you slide it back thru. you need to keep the piercing scrupulously clean......wash it with a mild soap and water 3 times a day, dry thoroughly and coat it with more neopsporin. if you don't see a positive change, within a week or so, you should prolly remove the piercing, let it heal completely and them have it re-pierced

i dont wanna take it out!
that stuff hurts...
getting it pierced once is fine
i laughed..lol
the second time i screamed...
and if i have too...i guess I'll take it out.

i dont really like going to the doctor either
and H2Ocean is the bomb!
i use it for all kinds of things :burns, cuts, scraped, ect.ect
works real well
