Yes the inside toes on both feet of my barred rock roo are bending inwords. I have been watching him and he has trouble jumping up on to the roosts. I felt so bad that I made him a step for the time being. What do y'all think this is and what should I do about it???

It's usually genetic. You could try to straighten them but it happens sometimes with heavier roosters. Just try to adjust the roosts; you'll need them to be for when the birds are older anyway.

ok well i still dont know what the problem is but i put a block inside to help the poor guy hop up onto the roosts with the others. he was so upset before but now he seems happy. he is the dominant one for sure and i think that really made him feel insufficient. haha
if anyone else feels like this could be harmful to him down the road please let me know thanks

Was the hatch low humidity at times...I have heard this will cause toes to be crooked. Also hatching late.... my blue orp roo has crooked toes (really bad) from being stuck in the shell four extra days and he is now 8 months old and gets around just fine. Chases those hens around like normal.
