Chick with fused toes

I've done it with a few chicks from a test hatch. I used new sharp scissors and styptic powder. Some didn't bleed at all, 1 bled a little to where I wrapped a bandaid around it til the next day and I agree to not breed forward and done as early as possible after hatch.

Here's a video I used... There's other videos out there.

That was a good video, thanks! I just don't want it to bleed too bad. I have some blood clot gel that works pretty well I could use if I cut it I guess. Yeah, I definitely will tell them not to breed her at all.

A couple of mine were real bad. Webbing attached to toenails so they needed to be done, so I did all 4. IIRC...they were a week old. If it's a quick snip with sharp scissors I don't think they felt it and blood was minimal. In my case, I had to make multiple cuts on 2 of them and needed to be very focused on where I was cutting....

In your case, you could cut them or leave them. It's not too bad either way.

Yeah I feel bad I didn't do it right away.
I was going to go do it today if it worked for her. I mean should I just leave it I guess? I don't know.
It's up to you whether or not you want to snip it.

She may be fine as is. I suppose in the future if it becomes a problem, you could do it then, it will just take longer to heal.
